Diwali
celebration
Witty Kids has a secular atmosphere and
celebrates all festivals with equal fervor .
WIS Nursery and Playgroup section
celebrated Diwali festival, on Friday 25th October, 2013. Teachers decorated the
class with the cut outs of Diyas and lanterns .
Children came to the school dressed in traditional clothes. A slide show
depicting the significance and the story of the festival was shared with the
children . Children colored Diyas in the worksheet.
Children were also given tips on
celebrating the festival in a safe eco friendly manner .
Children
enjoyed the festivities and they
collectively said, HAPPY DIWALI and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
