WIS celebrated The World Health Day on 7th April 2014,
originally an initiative of World Health Organization (WHO). The intention was
to draw attention to a subject of major importance - Global Health. This year’s
theme was “Better protection from vector-borne diseases such as Malaria Dengue,
Chikungunya and Yellow fever.
Students of Grade five, six and seven participated in badge
making event, where they themselves made 2-sided badges, which said “I am
healthy” on one side & “I am happy” on the other side. Then using beautiful
strings and ribbons, they proudly wore it.
