Jayanthi is the most important festival of Jains and owes to the fact that
Saint Mahavir was the founder of Jainism as a religion. As this day is
celebrated with simplicity and avoiding the grandiosity, same was followed
by WIS Bhilwara. Students of Grade 5 shared ample of information like history,
rituals and some of the teachings of Lord Mahavir. Students focused on one
of the teaching that "All beings hate pain,
therefore one should not hurt or kill them"
