It's never too early to encourage kids to stand up
in front of people and perform. The more we encourage
young children to speak, the greater the likelihood that their self
confidence will increase with each experience.
Keeping the above thought in mind, on Tuesday,
8 July 2014, children of Nursery section were encouraged to
enact on the rhyme “Baa Baa Black Sheep”. 4 children came dressed as a black
sheep, 1 came dressed as a master, 1 a little boy
and 1 a dame respectively. Teacher explained the rhyme and emphasised on
the number 3 and letter "Bb". They all sang the rhyme along
with the enactment. A collage worksheet related to the rhyme was done by
the children.
Thus, children not only learnt the numbers and
letters that were introduced, but also had great fun
enacting the rhyme, which will surely have a lasting impression on
their little minds.
