Ganpati
Celebration
Ganpati
festival is a medium of expressing emotions of love for Lord Ganesha. Nothing
can be more deeply rooted in the Indian tradition than devotional song and
music because it is like a fragrance that builds an aura of spiritual harmony
with the Almighty.
A special
assembly was held for the students of Grade I
– IV on this occasion. Students dressed in vibrant coloured traditional attire
danced to foot tapping Ganpati song, thus paying tribute to Lord Ganesha. They
delivered speeches on the importance and significance of the festival.
As
a part of the Enrichment Hour activity, students of Grade I and II made paper
plate Ganesha, whereas Grade III and IV made clay idols of Ganesha.
The
festive mood of the students was visible when they unanimously chanted “Ganpati
Bappa Mourya, Mangal Murti Mourya.”
