With the pride in heart for the
success of India’s Mars Mission, Wittians of Bhilwara celebrated “World Space
Week.” The space week started from 4Th October to 10th
October in commemoration of first human made satellite ‘Sputnik I” and signing
of ‘Outer Space Treaty’.
Students shared and recalled some
known and unknown facts about the galaxy, planets, sun, natural and manmade
satellites etc. They were informed about the training and workings of
astronauts. Inspirational incidents from the life of Kalpana Chawla and Rakesh
Sharma were narrated. Detailed information about NASA and ISRO was given in the
assembly.
