Our little Wittians of pre-primary section at Witty International School celebrated “Basant Panchmi” on Thursday, 22 January 2014. Teachers had activities lined up for the children to mark the end of winters and the beginning of spring.

Children came wearing
yellow and orange coloured clothes since the colours hold a special meaning for
this celebration as it signifies the brilliance of nature and vibrancy of life.
Sr. KG children made a tulip flower using palm print, whereas Jr. KG children made
greeting cards using leaf and thumb printing, Nursery children did dabbing
on flower cutout, and our youngest Wittians of Playgroup section
headgears. Teachers shared the importance of Basant Panchmi and Goddess
Saraswasti’s Puja. It was a colourful and a joyous celebration.
