Young fans of much loved children’s
author Roald Dahl had a great day at Witty International School, Pawan Baug as
WIttians celebrated his birthday with great enthusiasm. Primary students marked
Roald Dahl’s Day by dressing up as characters from a wide range of his books.
The fancy dress activity provided a
fantastic opportunity for the students to deepen their understanding of one of
their favourite authors. Students enthusiastically took part in this themed
activity to develop a love for reading.
The creative Wittians looked marvellous
in beautiful costumes by bringing mischievous characters to life. One could
find characters like Willie Wonka, Oompa Loompa, The Witches, Matilda, Miss Trunchbull
and many more all around the school. The school was mesmerized by the spur
created with the imaginative character enactments by the students.
It was a visual treat to see all the
students dressed in amazing and wonderful costumes to become their favourite
literary characters for the day.
