“We
must strive for literacy and education that teach us to never quit questioning
and probing at the assumptions of the day”
Today
students of Grade I presented a special assembly on International literacy
day. Students delivered a speech, where they focused on the fact that literacy
is not only a basic human right, but also a fundamental building block for
learning as well as a personal empowerment tool. Through slogans students
conveyed a message that literacy is
the catalyst for social and global progress.
