‘Today we have framed a will for a better
future. What matters is the will in the words, not the words in the will', truly said by Nobel peace
prize winner Shri
Kailash Sathyarthi.
Today we all feel the need of those great
moral values and compassion in our children that were prominent in our great forefathers and leaders.
To inculcate these
values among our students, WIS Bhilwara took 2nd October as a very special and fantastic opportunity. On this day
India got the best of greatest national leaders. First,
Mahatma Gandhi who was born on the 2nd Oct
1869 and another one was India’s 2nd Prime Minister Shri Lal
Bahadur Shastri who was born on same date but in 1904.
They were men with simple tastes and
values. With keeping that in mind and giving them full honour and respect
the festivities on this day were very special at WIS Bhilwara, where students of
grade 4 B presented different memorable anecdotes from the lives of these great
leaders. They also recited a poem. We wish that there are more takers for their
advice.
