“Victory is remembered for at the most two decades; an act of good sportsmanship is remembered for a lifetime.”
The importance of sports
and games in school encompasses more than just the benefit of physical
activity. It increases self-esteem and mental alertness, which makes sports
and games necessary for every child. Sports Day allows children to showcase true sportsman spirit. By giving children the opportunity to
try a much wider variety of sports we will be able to increase participation
levels, widen the talent pool and help young children lead a healthier, more
active lifestyle.
With this true spirit of sportsmanship, the students of
WIS, Bhilwara took part in the Annual Sports Meet “SYNERGY-2015"held on Sunday,December 20,2015.
