Makar Sankranti
Makar Sankranti is one of the most
auspicious day for the Hindus, and is celebrated in almost all parts
of the country in myriad cultural forms, with great devotion, fervour &
gaiety. It is a harvest festival.
Children of Pre – Primary section at
Witty Kids celebrated ‘Makar Sankranti’ on Thursday, 14 January 2016.
They participated in the traditional
Kite flying activity and also made and decorated their own kites. They got
to taste ‘revdi’.
Children enjoyed the festival with great zeal and enthusiasm.
