"Basant Panchmi" is the occasion when Goddess Saraswati
the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom is worshiped. It also marks the advent of the
spring season. This day was celebrated in WIS on 12th February, 2016, with great enthusiasm .The children of the Playgroup to Sr KG came dressed in Spring
colours - yellow and orange , the classes were decorated with yellow and orange
colour balloons. The kids sung and dance on the songs of Basant Panchmi. They enjoyed a lot and this was a learning experience for them.
