Republic day Assembly
On 26th January,
1950 India was declared a Republic country. In Republic, the supreme power is
held not by a monarch, but by the elected representatives of the people, along
with an elected President.
On 25th
of January Witty International School (RCL) the students of the primary section
celebrated the 67th Republic Day. The message of peace, integrity
and equality was conveyed to the little ones in regards to make our India, a
strong nation in future.
Celebration
took place in the assembly with the inspiring speech by our honourable
Principal. She shared the importance of the day, how it is celebrated
throughout India.
Children danced
to the tunes of patriotic songs and a skit based on the formation of Indian
constitution was presented which spread the zeal of Republic Day.
At the end a
salute was presented to the nation by singing the National Anthem.
