Holi Celebration
Holi is the festival of colours and
sweets. It brings along with itself the shades of joy, brotherhood, enjoyment
and optimism.
Holi is celebrated in March, every
year. Although it is a Hindu festival, it is celebrated by everyone. To
celebrate the victory of good over evil, bonfires are lit on the first day of
the festival and a dummy of Holika is burnt.
This year the Pre Primary section at
Witty Kids celebrated ‘Eco - friendly Holi’ on Wednesday, 23 March 2016.
Children brought shredded colourful papers to play Holi with their friends with
the motive of Saving Water. The concept of safe Holi was also presented to the
children. It was indeed a “learn with fun” day for everyone and a very
joyful experience for the children.
