A supermarket is a large grocery
store, where one can find a wide variety of foods, household products,
electronics and many more items all under one roof.
Since Jr.KG had the concept of
Community Helpers, children were taken to supermarket to give them hands-on
experience.
On 26th of July 2016, Tuesday Jr.KG section went on excursion to
Madam Home Supermarket. There the children were taken through different
sections of the store and they discussed about the things they saw. Teachers discussed about
the importance of supermarkets and grocery workers. Children shared their
experiences about going for shopping with their parents.
It was indeed a fun
learning experience for the little ones!
