Hindi is amongst the oldest language in India. Its academic terminology is taken from the Sanskrit language and it is written in the Devnagari script. Witty International school, Bhilwara celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ and ‘Onam’ which is the biggest and the most important festival of the state of Kerala on Wednesday, 14 September,2016 with great fervour. During the celebration, Wittians presented a special assembly in Hindi many activities like speech, poem and slogans were presented to tell Wittians that Hindi takes on the true spirit of Indians and is the ‘link language’ uniting the diverse India. The legend of Onam was told by our computer teacher Ms Rincy John. Students under guidance of teachers made beautiful POOKALAM with real flowers at the entrance gate of the school.
With an aim to rekindle the love for
India’s official language among students, Witty school organized Hindi speech,
debate and picture writing competition for grade I to VIII. The competition
encouraged students to enhance their vocabulary and language to evolve good and
effective public speaking. The children spoke on important issues like
‘Internet Vidhyarthiyo Ke Vikas Mein Sahayak Hai’ and ‘Vidhyalaya k Prati Vidhyarthiyo k Kartavya aur Adhikar’.
