On Ganesh
Chaturthi, Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good
fortune. Ganesh
Chaturthi brings people of all religion, caste and creed together. Ganesh
Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi is one of the most colorful and widely
celebrated festivals in India.
Fortunately the
birth day of Lord Ganesha fell together with Teacher's Day this year. WIS Bhilwara celebrated Teacher's
day and Ganesh Chaturthi on Monday, September 5,2016 to play its part by
dedicating a special assembly to the educators of the school and to Lord
Ganesha.
"It's
impossible to measure the impact of a great teacher. The curiosity they ignite
will become the mathematical theorems, medical breakthroughs, and beautiful art
that make the world a better place."
On
this day Lord Ganesha was worshipped. It was followed by different programs.
There were dances, songs, speech and a special way to coordinate the program
through puppets. The best thing to mention is that all programs were prepared
in the stewardship of students only.
WIS
wishes A Happy Teacher's Day to all the teachers of the nation.
