Every year on October 2 we celebrate the
birthday of two great leaders Shri Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri.
This day is marked by grand celebration. It is a day for the children to
understand the spirit of non-violence and sacrifices of these great heroes of
our country. It was a quality of the
spirit – a quality of humble love for all beings.
This special day was celebrated at
WIS,Bhilwara on Friday, September 30,2016. A student of Grade I delivered a speech and tried
to influence everyone with Gandhiji’s and Shastriji’s simple living and high
thinking thoughts and moral values. After that, students of Grade II sang the most favourite
song of Gandhiji’s “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram”.
At last students of Grade II enacted a play. This play conveyed the message that all are equal and
there is importance of each individual in this world.
The students were very excited and their hearts
were filled with enthusiasm.
