RSG Broklede visits Witty World, Bangur Nagar

Witty World was proud to host some very special guests from Netherlands, on December 16, 2016. The Dutch students and their teachers from RSG Broklede [our EUMIND Partners] were given a traditional Indian welcome with special garlands [handcrafted lovingly by the little ones of Witty World], the aarti and tilak, before being escorted on a school tour.

They thoroughly enjoyed participating in an entertaining fashion show with the theme of ‘Make in India’ which had them partnering our little Wittians and proudly sashaying the ramp in various ethnic Indian wear and accessories. The school’s Multi Activity Studio had the guests and our little ones pulling on their dancing shoes to dance to various Indian folk songs.

A lively puppet show, showcasing the diversity of India, by the Teacher trainees of the ECCed course, was much appreciated by the Dutch visitors. A lot of notes and creative ideas were exchanged, in the discussions which followed.

 

Learning can never be restricted to the four walls of a classroom, and the Eumind cultural exchange program was a learning experience that our children will treasure in the years to come.
