Best Out Of Waste Competition
Best out of Waste Competition was
held for the students of grade I on 27th July 2017. The competition
aimed to make the students aware about the myriad variety in which waste
materials can be reused and also learn to reduce waste in order to save our
Earth.
Students came armed to school
with reusable and recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, card board
boxes, coconut and pistachio shells, newspapers, matchboxes, CD’s and a lot of
innovative ideas. The classroom was filled with enthusiasm. It was amazing to
see the little hands at work, reusing the materials to create products such as
paper bags, pencil stands, bird house, piggy banks and wall hangings.
The event was certainly enjoyed
by the students. It not only helped them to display their creative skills but
also introduced them to the 3 reduce, reuse and recycle.
