English Debate Competition at WIS, Udaipur

Yes or no - who knows?                          

Agree or disagree - what is the "Debate" is one of the academic activities that gives students creative room to express what they feel. With the same perspective in view, the school organised an inter-class debate competition for the students of Grade -VIII A and B. The topics chosen for the debate were:- (1) 'Sport stars should be positive'

 (2)'Video games are too violent'.

The participants had put their arguments both in favour and against the motion very convincingly. The competition was adjudged by the winner of the "National Declaimation Contest" - Mr. Dhruv Sharma. The highlight of the debate was the rebuttal round.

It was an enriching and learning experience for the young debaters.
