Trees have always been a source of
inspiration for people around the world. From the tiny glimmer of hope
signified by a tiny sprout in the ground, to the resilient mighty oak standing
alone after a storm.
Van Mahostav is an annual tree planting
festival in India, celebrated in the first week of July. Keeping this wonderful
idea in mind, Witty International School, Atun Road, Bhilwara organized a tree
plantation drive “ Dream Green” on Saturday, July 8,2017 to bring alive the
spirit of planting and saving trees. On
this occasion Witty also launched Mobile app (E-campus) and CCTV surveillance
for the school buses. Parents and students all participated actively in the
initiative taken by the school. Honourable
Chief Guest Shri Janardhan Acharya (
District Transport officer) also took part in plantation and inaugurated CCTV surveillance
for the school buses.
All the students, parents and staff members
of the school enthusiastically participated in the event and everyone well
understood that if we do not take the initiative of taking care of the planet
earth and continue exploiting the natural resources, we will have to face the
horrendous consequences. Truly speaking, it is imperative to act responsibly
and save our natural treasures. Save forests, save humanity!
