It has been observed that school going
children are more vulnerable to cyber offences due to their inquisitiveness,
curiosity and inadequate awareness about online threats and safe online habits.
Cyber crime is the latest and perhaps the most complicated problem this
generation is facing.
Keeping in mind the above issues, WIS,
Pawan Baug organised ‘Cyber Safety Awareness‘Workshop for the students of
Grades IV and V on 15th September’17. This workshop was addressed by PSI Yogesh
Khanure wherein he educated the Wittians to make use of the facilities for the
right purpose and to protect values to build a stable nation.
This
workshop helped students understand wide range of offences, including offences
against computer data and systems (such as 'hacking'), computer - related
forgery and fraud and copyright offences. It gave our learners a better opportunity to understand things related
to cyber crime in a simpler way. The queries of curious minded Wittians were
answered which made the session more interactive.
Witty International School highly appreciate the efforts of PSI Yogesh
Khanure for providing his valuable time, assistance and co-operation
rendered to us.
It was quiet an insightful session which helped
out the students for their better understanding.
