On 7th Nov, 2017 WIS
conducted an activity for Grade I and II to encourage kids to celebrate
Election Day with a voting party from students. It was a fun way to introduce
and encourage voting and also a great opportunity to invite their own friends
to vote. The students headed over the polling booth to caste the vote for the
deserving candidate. Voting was held by secret ballot. After voting the
students got voting marks on their finger. The ballot boxes were sealed and
taken to the counting centers. The ballot boxes were opened and votes were
counted under the supervision of teachers. The candidate who got the highest
number of votes was declared class representatives.
To conclude Little Wittians came to
know about their rights, choices and freedom to vote.
