“We declare that human rights are for all of us, all the time: whoever we are and wherever we are from; no matter our class, our opinions, our sexual orientation.”
Truly said by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
Students of Witty International School, Atun Road, Bhilwara observed Human Rights' Day on Monday, December 11,2017.
The assembly revolved around the theme of rights and freedom- freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from fear and many more. Students of Grade III presented a poem followed by a power dance to underpin the basic rights as a human being. In the classroom students of Grade I and II made a helping hand wreath to symbolize the responsibility and students of Grade III to VIII made Human Rights Tree which they later on displayed in their classrooms. The principal reminded the students that rights and duty should go hand in hand.
