World Read Aloud Day is celebrated on 1st February, 2018 every year. It calls global attention to the importance of reading aloud and sharing stories. Each year World Read Aloud Day motivates readers to celebrate the power of words. It is an annual event founded by Lit World to celebrate literacy as a human right.
The students of Witty International School, Atun Road, Bhilwara celebrated “World Read Aloud Day” on Thursday,1st February 2018 with great zeal to enhance their interest in reading. Students of Grade V presented a special assembly in which they delivered speech on importance of reading. They also presented a role play about how to develop reading habits to improve their vocabulary and pronunciation. A poem was also recited by the students to show the benefits of read aloud.
