A special assembly was conducted by the students of grade-II-A to celebrate Janmashtami with lot of passion and zeal. Students donned the roles of Lord Krishna and Gopikas. They enraptured the audience with their perfect enactment of the beautiful roles designed for them. The special assembly comprised of a group dance based on the life of Krishna, a group song that showcased the devotion to Krishna and the cherry on the cake was a tableau depicting the different stages of the life of Lord Krishna. Wittians also took part in a Dahi handi event to recreate the beauty and the fun associated with the festival and to also bring out the importance of team work. A principled message of, “Victory of good over evil” was wonderfully conveyed. The event concluded with a message by the Principal where she reminded the students about Lord Krishna’s devotion and obedience to his master.
