Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, an
avatar of Lord Vishnu.This festival is popularly known in Mumbai and
Pune as DahiHandi.
Janmashtami festival was celebrated with enormous
zeal and enthusiasm by our little Wittians of Nursery section of Pawan Baug. Children came dressed in, as Krishna
and Radha and other colorful outfits. The classrooms were decorated colourfully to make this
event more cheerful and colorful. Children did colouring of lord Krishna followed
by a short movie on Birth of Lord Krishna. All the kids danced to the tune of
little Krishna”s songs.
