Navratri is a festival celebrated in India for
nine days. The tenth day is commonly referred to as Vijayadashami or
"Dussehra". It marks the triumph of truth and love over evil and
hatred. It is celebrated in different styles and magnitude in different parts
of the country.
Children of the pre-primary section Of Witty
World Goregaon (East) celebrated Dussehra on Wednesday, 17th October
2018 dressed in colourful, ethnic wear. Children were explained the
importance of the festival through a story of the victory of good over evil. Children
were taken to the auditorium where they danced to foot tapping music. It was
truly a colourful and a fun filled day.
