“Give every
human being every right that you claim for yourself.”
Human rights are rights inherent
to all human beings,
regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any
other status. Human rights include
the right to life and
liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression,
the right to work and
education, and many more. To explain human rights to children, an activity was
carried out in classrooms during EH period on Monday. December 10,2018. Students made a tree of human
rights showing different human rights written on the branches like Right to Education, Right
to freedom,Right to Equality, Right against discrimination, Right to live,
Right of freedom to choose any religion etc. and explained it one by one. Students
of Grade VIII made collages related to human rights and showed and
explained it in the classroom.
WIS encourages knowledgeable activities and hopes to bring out
the best through such activities, while ensuring that the children learn
through all possible ways, not just through books and classroom teaching.
