the nation on REPUBLIC DAY!
It is
important to be aware of one’s National history. At Witty International School
Udaipur, we make sure that even in today’s modern world we still give
importance to our country’s history. So the children of Pre - Primary section
celebrated India’s 70th Republic day on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
The little
kids proudly came dressed in tri-colored clothes.
Teacher’s
explained the importance of Republic day and why it is celebrated. Children
were shown the National Symbols and they also sang a patriotic song.
The little
kids of P.G and Nursery class did a group activity by sticking tri-colored crepe
paper on a butterfly and kite outline. The Wittians of Jr. KG made a take away
tri-colored fans, Sr. KG did drawing and coloring activity based on the theme
of Republic Day.
It was
indeed a patriotic celebration for the little ones. This Republic Day made
children familiarized with the founding pillars of our Nation, its history and
a little something about constitution!
