Tasting and smelling!!
On 1st of May, WIS, Udaipur hosted “SENSOMANIA” activity for Jr.KG that focused on providing a fun, sensory experience to children. Sensory play focuses on stimulating children’s senses of sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.
Children were provided with ample opportunities to touch, feel, taste, hear and smell through various attractive displays and games in different “sense booths”. There was a display of various edible household items for kids like sugar, salt for taste. In the sense booth for vision, there were optical instruments on display. In the sense booth for hearing, kids were given various musical instruments like drum, guitar and sound boxes to experiment with. Children experienced various different textures like rough, smooth and hard, in the sense booth for touch. Different aromas greeted them in the sense booth for smell. The children definitely had a “sensational” experience through this activity.
