Yoga is
an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and
body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and
nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being.
Since its
inception in the year 2015, June 21st is celebrated as the
International Day of Yoga all over the world. International Yoga Day was celebrated
by the Staff members at Witty International School, Atun Road, Bhilwara on
Friday, June 21, 2019 with great enthusiasm.
The
trainers Ms Shurti Sharma and Mrs Renu Choradiya demonstrated various asanas
followed by Om chanting. All the teachers performed sitting and standing asanas,
importance of these were explained simultaneously. The exercises were followed
by synchronized recitation of shlokas.
The
celebration concluded with honouring of Yoga trainers. The principal of the
school Mrs Abha Mittal gave vote of thanks and encouraged the participants to
practice regular yoga to remain fit and
improve concentration.
The teachers continued with their daily chores
with fresh mindset and pledged to change their lifestyles.
