Yoga is
one of the most effective traditional means of living a healthy life. It makes
the body more flexible and stronger. June 21 has been proclaimed as
International Yoga Day by the United Nations. The aim of worldwide recognition
was to primarily raise awareness on the benefits of Yoga.
Our little
Wittians of Pre–Primary section at Witty World Chikoowadi celebrated ‘International
Yoga Day’ on Friday, June 21, 2019. Children enjoyed practicing kids
friendly yoga and enthusiastically indulged in doing simple warm-up exercises
and asanas. They were also told about the benefits of yoga.
It was
indeed an energetic, refreshing and relaxing day for our little Wittians.
