Rhyme Enactment " Mary Had Little Lamb" by Nursery Section at Witty World, Bangur Nagar (2019-20)

Mary had a little lamb,
whose fleece was white as snow.

And everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day
which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,
to see a lamb at school.

And so the teacher turned it out,
but still it lingered near,

And waited patiently about,
till Mary did appear.

“Why does the lamb love Mary so?”
the eager children cry.

“Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know.”
the teacher did reply

Nursery rhymes can be sung, recited and enacted. Toddlers of nursery class at witty world, Bangur Nagar, Goregaon West, participated in the rhyme enactment of “Mary had a little lamb” on 28^th June,2019,Friday. The excitement of dressing and the joy of rediscovering the poem through actions was evident throughout the class. Witty World provides an opportunity to kids to live and enjoy their favorite rhyme.
