I make toys, for girls and boys.
Hammer and saw, chisels and awls,
are some tools that I use
I cut and scrape, to get the right shape,
and join parts with glue, nails and screw!

As part of their
concept for the month - Community Helpers, Jr. KG children of Witty World
Goregaon East had a surprise visitor today! It was the Carpenter who decided to
pay a visit to the class. The children got a hands on feel of the various tools
that a carpenter uses and its purpose. The carpenter showed different types of
tools like- hammer, saw, wooden cut outs, fevicol, screw driver. The live
demonstration helped them to actually view the tools and understand how each
one is used for a different purpose by the carpenter. Children thanked the
carpenter and enjoyed a lot.
