Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply
as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami. It marks the birth of Lord
Krishna. Janmashtami festival was celebrated at Witty World, Goregaon East for
the Pre Primary section on Friday, 23rd August 2019. All
the children came dressed in their traditional best. As a part of the
celebrations, children were shown a short film on Lord Krishna. A
skit was also performed by the Jr.KG section. Teachers demonstrated the
breaking of the traditional “Dahi Handi”. The children also danced to
the tunes of some of their favorite songs. It was day filled with lots of fun
and dance.
