The spellings have an
undisputed significance in every language. The spellings form the core of the
language and leave a lasting impression if used accurately.
The students of Witty International
School, Atun Road, Bhilwara realized the importance of learning spellings in a
sincere and serious manner. They established their knowledge of spellings in an
inter house Spellathon competition. The online preliminary round for Grade 1 to
9 was conducted in the school premises, after that the finalists from each
house of each section were selected for the final round. The final rounds took
place on July 31, 2019 for Grade I to IV and on August 1, 2019 for Grade V to
IX. There were three rounds in the competition namely Spell the Word, Guess Who
I Am? and Fill the missing letters. The Second
and the third rounds were buzzer rounds, which were quiet interesting and also
turned to be a game changer. This competition inculcated the team work, unity
and desire to spell the words even with the challenging ones with precision and
confidence.
As the competition
unfolded, the honourable special guests of the day CA Ashok Jaithliya and CA Piresh Jain congratulated and appreciated the
students for being prepared with remarkable vocabulary. The presence of
honourable Director, Mr Akin Choudhary and Principal, Mrs Abha Mittal was a
motivation for every one. Efforts of all the team members were admired by
the heads.
