Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival that is celebrated every year as birthday of Lord Ganesha.
The little Wittians of Pre-Primary celebrated
Ganesh Chaturthi on 2nd September, 2019. As the part of the celebration the children prayed to Ganesha, offered Laddus, sang devotional songs and chanted Ganesh mantras. Children were made aware of the importance of eco-friendly Ganpati idols by having a mock immersion of a mud idol, which dissolved immediately in comparison of the idol made by plaster of Paris.
Little ones enjoyed watching movie which explained the importance of the festival and even coloured the worksheet of Ganesha with great fun.
Overall, the spirit & enthusiasm of the festival marked the importance of the fun-filled celebration.
