Field trips are a very valuable learning experience for young children but the knowledge gained from the trip is more ingrained if the trip coincides with the monthly theme. So the theme of the month being 'Transport' children of Playgroup, Jr. K.G. and Sr. K.G. from Witty World, Udaipur visited Renault car showroom on Wednesday, 5th November 2019, to get hands on information about different types of cars and there features. Children always understand things when it is actually shown to them in a fun way and there is curiosity to know about new things. Practical learning has a very strong impact on children as the concept is imbibed well. The session was interactive as teachers explained about different parts of cars,
how they work, what role they play and how to take care of automobiles. Teachers emphasized upon the
fact that while driving any four wheeler, one should wear a seat belt and not use the mobile phone. The staff of Renault Car showroom warmly welcomed our team and clicked pictures and made the children very comfortable. It was completely an extension to classroom learning where the children enjoyed the trip and were very happy.
