Field trips play an important role in learning. They link the classroom experience with the outside world and in doing so they improve the process of learning, and also give the learners a valued hands on experience. To reinforce the concept of “Fruits and Vegetable “the little Wittian’s of Playgroup section, Witty World, Goregaon (East) were taken for a field trip to a supermarket on Thursday, 23^rd January, 2020.Children were given a warm welcome by the store staff at “Godrej Nature’s Basket”. In the vegetable and fruit section the children were super excited as they could identify the different fruits and vegetables on display. The children may have followed their parents to the supermarket countless times but this trip was enriching and a fun learning experience for them. This educational, interactive experience is sure to leave a lasting impression with the little Wittians.
