You can squeeze a juice,
Make a fruit salad and eat them right away.
As rightly said “A day without a fruit is like
a day without a shine” echo the perfect notion of including fruits as a part
and parcel of our nutritional intake. To highlight the importance of having
fruits, how it helps us in keeping good health and to reinforce the concept of
“Fruits”, a cooking activity of making Fruit Salad was held for the Playgroup
children on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020 at Witty World, Goregaon
(East). Each child brought one variant of yummy fresh fruit like apples, banana,
papaya, watermelon, orange and grapes to make the fruit salad. With the slogan “Fruit
in a day is the Healthy way!” teachers encouraged children to eat fruits, making
them understand that fruits are an essential part of our daily meal. Children
sang songs and had a good time while preparing the Fruit salad. Fruit Salad Day was a party
time for our little ones as luscious fruits and dollops of whipped cream met
with delighted giggles and sticky little fingers wiping the fruit salad bowl clean.
It was surely a fruitful day with abundant learning.
