Makar Sankranti is one of the most famous festivals of Hindus; it is celebrated in all the parts of India in various cultural forms. It is a harvest festival that falls in the month of Paush. Little Wittians of Witty World Bangur Nagar celebrated ‘Makar Sankranti’ on Tuesday, 14th January 2020. The decoration done for the festival reflected the festive mood everywhere in the school premises. Children enjoyed making colourful kites in their scrap book. Teacher narrated the story of the importance of Makar Sankranti. The children got to taste ‘revdi’.
Children enjoyed the festival with great zeal and enthusiasm.
