“Three little kittens, they lost
their mittens
and they began to cry
Oh, mother dear, we sadly fear our mittens
we have lost!
What! Lost your mittens, you naughty kittens!
Then you shall have no pie.”

Nursery rhymes are
something that most of us never forget even after growing up. Thus they form a
very special part of one’s childhood. On 6th January 2020. Children of Nursery came dressed as different Characters of the poem and
enjoyed the activity of Rhyme Enactment. The excitement of dressing and
the joy of rediscovering the poem through actions was evident throughout the
class. This gave the kids a fair chance to live and enjoy their favourite
rhyme. Children expressed different emotions while enacting the
rhyme. Children enjoyed the experience of singing and enacting the rhyme. They
not only learnt the rhyme but also understood it thoroughly with the enactment.
Overall, it
was a great learning experience for them through a dramatization.
