A
field visit was organized for the Junior KG section on Monday, 3rd
February, 2020, to a Bus Depot. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint the
children with the transport facility used by most of the people in our country.
The
conductor of the bus gave dummy tickets to the children and they were explained
about the importance of always travelling with a ticket. The ticket checker
also checked the tickets given to the children.
Children learned the significance of symbols drawn
in the bus, for seats reserved for senior citizens, handicapped people and
ladies. They were shown how a bus was being washed at the depot. Children
also saw how the bus is repaired and how the fuel is filled. It was a
hands-on experience for the children to see how the BEST functions.
Overall,
it was a fun learning experience for the little ones!!
