A
field trip is one of the best tools that provides every student with real-world
experiences and plays an important
role in practical learning. On Saturday, 22nd February, 2020, students
of Grade II and III at Witty Kids went on a field trip to Dr. Bhau Daji Lad, one of the oldest
museum in Mumbai built to showcase Mumbai’s industrial skills and
craftsmanship.
The students were curious and excited to visit the
museum. The
museum was a visual treat all the way right from the stately Museum building to
its grand interiors to its aesthetically displayed collection. Students were amazed to see the
excellent collection of artefacts. The visit offered a dynamic opportunity to children to experience and explore new
things in a rich and educational environment. The guides at the museum gave
detailed information to the students regarding the fascinating
exhibits on arts, crafts, and industry, as well as on the history of Mumbai. India’s rich history of art and
culture was seen at one glance.
Children
have made plenty of memories of the day which fostered a positive memory
they’ll treasure forever.
Witty International School thanks the management team and the
staff of Museum for providing their valuable time and for their assistance and
co-operation rendered to us.
