The queen of hearts
She made some tarts
All on a summer’s day
The knave of hearts
She stole those tarts
And took them clean away.
Singing/
enacting nursery rhymes enhances a child's learning ability.
Enactment makes children more confident, and most importantly brings
the poem and its characters come alive. Psychologists agree that young
children learn best by 'Seeing and Doing' and these actions lead to a child's
linguistic, rationale and logical skills development.
On
Monday 17th February, 2020 children of Nursery section came
dressed as King, Queen and Knave for the enactment of Rhyme "The Queen of
Hearts". They did the dramatization and enjoyed being in the character.
Overall, they enjoyed the activity and had fun in reciting the rhyme.
