“You Dream We Guide”
Becoming a
teacher requires strong conviction and utmost commitment. Teachers’ Day is
celebrated to acknowledge the indispensable role of a teacher in guiding and
preparing the students to not only chase their passion in the choicest field
but also achieve their dreams by keeping their moral values and sense of social
responsibility intact. Teaching this year is bit difficult than it had ever been before
as teachers have to teach through virtual platform due to global pandemic
Covid-19. Not only are teachers trying to prepare their students academically,
but they are learning an entirely new way of teaching. Thus, September 5, 2020
i.e. Teachers’ Day was completely dedicated to show gratitude towards the
hardworking teachers for their dedication and sincerity. The love and affection
of the students of grade 3 to 10 of Witty International School, Atun Road,
Bhilwara could be seen during virtual Teachers’ Day celebration.Witty teachers
received invitation from the students to participate in the Teachers’ Day
celebration. They had planned a series of various presentations to surprise
their beloved teachers.
In spite of challenges the Wittians
coordinated well and organised an online programme for Teacher’s Day and took
charge to conduct 40 minutes surprise event for their teachers where the students
delivered speeches, recited poems, sang songs, gave dance performances etc.
Students prepared cards, made art and craft
items to show their sweet gestures of love towards their teachers. The
tech-savvy Wittians prepared fun games, quizzes, PPT and planned skits which
were screened during virtual celebration. The creative students used every bit
of technology to celebrate the day and appreciated their teachers’ efforts virtually.
