A session "Good Touch Bad Touch" for Sr KG at Witty World, Bangur Nagar

On 26^th July 2016, a session of ‘Good touch bad touch’ was conducted by Sub-Inspector Dipali Kharat from Bangur Nagar police station for students of Sr. Kg.Witty World.She explained the difference between a good touch and a bad touch through an interactive and child-friendly video.

 Children were spoken to about the, “ don’t touch” areas  on their bodies, how to recognise a bad touch and stop the same assertively. The need to ask for help from the nearest trusted  adult was  also explained. It was quite an insightful session which will help the children to get a better understanding of the differences between a good touch and a bad touch.

Witty International School, Udaipur celebrated Kargil Victory Day as a homage for the pride and pain of our valorous soldiers who fought to free the Siachen border from Pakistani troop. The assembly began with the information on Kargil war which was given by the students of Grade-VII. The Witty choir presented a melodious Rajasthani song followed by a wonderful message giving skit on the theme brotherhood. Principal Mrs. Shubha Govil praised and applauded the students for their efforts and motivated students by her beautiful message “Don’t be afraid to stand for what you believe in, even if that means standing alone”. She also asked students to be ever ready to serve their country. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

We at Witty believe that the learning becomes more fun when involved with practical approach. Our day to day needs are fulfilled by the nearby shopping stores, Grocery shop is one of them.

The Wittians of Jr KG had a learning experience when they visited the Supermarket at Big Bazaar. They explored the entire store and learnt about daily required grocery. Fulfilling to their curiosity they were answered to all the questions asked. They learnt about collecting the articles in the trolley, checking the manufacturing and expiry date and weight of the articles taken and the billing procedure. Students had a fun filled trip to the supermarket.

Celebration of Brown Day by Nursery Section at WIS, Malad (2016-2017)

It literally was brown everywhere in the Nursery class, at Witty Kids, on Monday, 25 July 2016. Children and teachers came dressed in brown colour attire, which was also reflected in all the brown coloured objects decorating the class.

 Children were surprised to know that they could mix two colours - red and blue, and create a whole new colour……BROWN!!!

 What a fun and unique way of introducing children to the magical world of colours!!!

Field Trip to Super Market by Jr. KG Section at WIS, Malad (2016-17)

A supermarket is a large grocery store, where one can find a wide variety of foods, household products, electronics and many more items all under one roof.

Since Jr.KG had the concept of Community Helpers, children were taken to supermarket to give them hands-on experience.

On 26^th of July 2016, Tuesday Jr.KG section went on excursion to Madam Home Supermarket. There the children were taken through different sections of the store and they discussed   about the things they saw. Teachers discussed about the importance of supermarkets and grocery workers. Children shared their experiences about going for shopping with their parents.

It was indeed a fun learning experience for the little ones!

brown gravy and

grapes and peppers,

green and red.

A supermarket is a place where you get all that you need from grocery to electronics; you can find it all under one roof.

Keeping in mind the concept of community helpers, our Jr.KG section planned a trip to the supermarket for the children so that they could have a first hand experience of the same.

On 25th of July 2016, Monday our Jr.KG children were taken for a field trip  to Madam Home Supermarket, as an extension of their experiential learning process. The children along with their teachers walked through the various aisles and discussed the things they saw there. Teachers explained the importance of supermarkets and grocery workers. Children too shared their experiences about going to the market with their family and buying things.

It was a fun , and hands on learning experience !!

As a part of the colour day celebrations in Nursery section of Witty World celebrated, “Brown Colour Day” on Monday,25 July 2016. Children and teachers came dressed in brown colour clothes. Classroom was decorated with brown colour objects.Children were surprised to see the magic of mixing two colours ‘Blue and Red ‘to get a new colour ‘Brown’ out of it. Children enjoyed brown day visuals and had a fun filled day.

The English Poem Recitation Activity was organized at WIS on July25, 2016 wherein the students of Grade I To V participated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Beauty is the realm of poetry. The activity was organized to explore the beauty of expression, thoughts, feelings, rhyme, rhythm and music of words. Taking all these factors into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. This activity was organized to explore speaking skills and develop confidence in children. It inspired children to come forward and recite on stage.  The children were given a variety of topics for their recitation like nature, trees, flower, mother, teacher etc..  The Principal Mrs. Shubha Govil appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants and the children enjoyed the activity.
